A few months ago I found a new tool called Interest Explorer which helps Facebook Marketers to uncover new audience groups that can be hard to find when browsing through Ads Manager. I thought I’d share my thoughts so you could see whether it’s right for your business too.
This is how it works...let’s say you have a product aimed at women who are going through the menopause. You would head into Interest Explorer and start tapping out some keywords...you might start with ‘menopause’:

Then starting to think a bit more laterally about when people with menopause symptoms might have been born and so what their interests might be:
Then instead of just looking for menopause and not getting much back, we’ve already got a nice long list of interests that we could layer in different ways.

Really simple user interface - super quick, returns results quickly which is a big timesaver vs. other clunky / non user friendly tools.
Does what it says on the tin - it only does one thing but it does it pretty well.
